An Overview To Start Playing EverQuest
EverQuest is one of the first Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) Roleplaying games ever created. The Sony Entertainment creation, introduces the fictional world of Norrath to the players, to assume characters of choice and evolve throughout the game. With over 15 years of growth and evolution, EverQuest has over 500 levels to keep players entertained till kingdom come.
The Best Class and Race for A Beginner
Choosing your character at the start of the game is an important decision and many players find that they could have chosen better. There are over 16 Races and 18 Classes of characters to choose from. Character abilities can range from spell casters to combat specialists.
To keep things simple and to guide you through the levels, the best character to choose would be a Beastlord. The Beastlord is a Hybrid class – has characters and abilities of two classes, magic and combat. Players who chose a class other than a Beastlord found that they faired better once they started a Beastlord. Spells and combat skills are an essential part of the entire game. The Beastlord gives the player exposure to both from the start. Their abilities are great for a solo player or even if you decide to find a group later.
The strengths of Beastlords are derived from their pets, which they unlock at level 9 of the game. The most amount of damage caused by the Beastlord is mainly through their pets. The Slow healing ability of the Beastlord makes him a great addition to a group of players where a healer is not the only dependable person. This is the main reason why many groups choose to bring a Beastlord into their teams.
